Like most of you the Gail’s have been cooped up at home during quarantine. Our normal way of life was shifted and now even a normal sense of life is something we long for. As things have been opening up slowly the Gails decided to take a quick two day get away to a little piece of Paradise. Hutchinson Island is a quaint little beach town about an hour and a half from us that we have been going to since we were little girls. Fast forward to present day and if you and your gail friend are looking for a cute getaway then Hutchinson Shores Beach Resort & Spa is the perfect escape. Nestled in the perfect island town that we remembered growing up but now elevated to modern age. This resort is absolutely stunning. We had the most amazing time, wether it was on the private balcony where we relaxed and listened to the waves or the perfect food paired with cocktails we had at the resort restaurant called Drift where everything was top notch.
This inviting and luxurious resort was exactly what the busy, on the go and stressed out gail or guy needs. The biggest decisions we had each day was did we want to hangout at the pool or the beach and what time was an appropriate time to begin cocktail hour. In true gail fashion we ended up enjoying several different styles of drinks from key lime pie martinis to chili mango margaritas!!!! It was hard to pick a favorite honestly but I will say multiple margaritas were ordered this trip and the wine selection was a popular page on the menu.
Overall this spectacular retreat was exactly what we needed. Everyday we took full advantage of our balcony for morning coffee chats and relaxing gail time before dinner. We were lucky enough to have an oceanview room that truly felt as if we were sitting right on the sand. We cannot wait to visit again and enjoy all the other luxuries that this gem has to offer.
