On a trip to the Gails favorite place, The Big Apple we stumbled upon some amazing spots for some excellent cocktails and bites to eat!! If you all are like us we love exploring this beautiful city. Waking up, grabbing a cup of coffee and ending up anywhere! We wanted to share some of our favorites with you all to take some of guess work out of where to get a great cocktail with your gail friends or even a date night!
If your Find yourself uptown shopping at say Bergdorfs or the newly renovated Nordstrom flagship on of our favorite and nalstaligic places to visit is Tavern on the Green. Not only is it draped in New York City history and such an iconic landmark nestled in the heart of Central Park but their bar is absolutely stunning! We popped in there after a morning of shopping, window shopping and strolling through central park. The bar offers amazing snacks, wines and cocktails. This means anyone you are with can find something they would enjoy.
Chelsea market is always just a fantastic place to visit, walk around and you really never know what you may stumble upon while you are there. This little french place called Le Song is a spot that the Gails have visited multiple times now and keep going back. Not only do they have the MOST amazing macaroni and cheese and french fries but they have the cutest little champagne bar which is perfect for celebrating. The Gails always believe that anytime is a time worth celebrating so feel free to enjoy a glass for any occasion.
The Vessel has quickly become a must see in New York and not only is it absolutely amazing to see but for the brave you can actually walk through the art installation. Nestleed right at the popular spot Husdon Yards it allows for some sightseeing and of course the perfect place to grab a libation. We were obsessed with this little cafe called queensyard cafe where you can get a lovely coffee and pastry to go or a mini bottle of champagne! I mean hello how incredible is that little champagne cart!!! If a sit down cozier vibe is what you are looking for we also really enjoyed Bar Stanley inside Neiman Marcus. They had an incredible wine selection as well as some amazing little bar bites that are complimentary with any drink ordered. During this visit we did order the guacamole which hit the spot after an afternoon walking through the Hudson Yards mall and the Vessel.
No Gails post about new York would be complete without a visit to Ladurée Soho! The most beautiful, girly and quintessential french aesthetic it is the perfect spot for a delicious and crisp glass of rosé and mouth watering pastries and macarons! During the spring the outside garden is the perfecting brunching spot with all your gails!
